New Report Finds Tackling Global Warming Can Coincide With Economic Growth

Environment Maine

Portland, Maine—Maine and other northeast states successfully reduced global warming pollution over the last decade, while at the same time growing their economies—and did so faster than the rest of the nation, according to a new Environment Maine report released today.

“The experience of the last decade shows that large reductions in global warming pollution are possible and can be achieved side-by-side with economic growth,” said Environment Maine Field Organizer Nora Graubard.
