Save Our Wild Forests- email Congress
Maine’s wild
forests in the White Mountain National Forest define our natural
heritage: they provide critical wildlife habitat, endless recreational
opportunities and clean drinking water. But if the Bush administration
has its way, they will be opened to extensive logging and
road-building. Even with a 2006 court ruling in favor of protections, these wild forests are at risk until Congress passes legislation to make protections permanent. So please Ask your Member of Congress to protect Maine's wild forests. Follow these 3 easy steps to help out.
